Hi all. First post here, want to say its a great place here, maybe a little too much flaming but what can you do :D

Anyway,

just wanting to know of a cheap place to buy one of these that will send to Australia. I know newegg is a great site but they dont ship international. :(

Any suggestions?

I'm an Aussie dude, don't go international as it will make any possible RMA an absolute biatch!

Best Australian search engine is www.staticice.com.au; I was able to pick up my XT in March for $689AU (roughly $500US at the time). The cheapest they have now is $610AU for a Powercolor model, which comes with a lifetime warranty.

thanks for the reply.

well a problem is that i am moving to england and will be building my new comp there but found that they are pretty expensive in the UK.

if i buy one from australia and then move to the UK will I have trouble with warranties?

maybe a futher question, where is a cheap place to get them in the UK?

EDIT: What is the difference between a power color and a sapphire (sorry, i dont know much about these kind of things)

Prices are definitely higher in the UK. Australia is pretty much the cheapest country outside the US region for these things. As for the warranty maybe contact each potential manufacturer to see if you can rma in the UK.

Only good UK place I know of is http://www.overclockers.co.uk/. You will be out of pocket substantially more though.

thanks for the help.

my mums uncle lives in america. Im thinking of getting one of newegg sent to his house and then he can send it down to me.

that would save me about 100AU over the 610 dollar one here.

i dont know what to do
