I was hoping to avoid buying another seperate computer for the wife. If you check out the signature of our current hardware which is plenty capable of handling everything. My question...is there a way to get XP pro to allow seperate keyboard/mouse onto another monitor so my wife can surf the web as a seperate user? Is there any software that allows that?

nope , i wish there was or i just dont know about... for atleast the SAME time as another user is on , just build a cheap browsin rig :)

only way to do is to Switch users,
you can not have 2 users logged in at the same time
Just cant be done with XP

2 users at the same time violates the windows XP license.

However, you can do multiseat in GNU\Linux pretty well.

Didn't MSI or someone make a barebones that did this not a couple of years back. I don't know if they used separate XP installs or what though.

back OT - no easy way to do it with regular XP. You could possibly do a Terminal Server setup, but I don't know how you'd map separate keyboards etc.
