Well, I was planning on selling my three boxen i had in the corner ... but ..

I had two choices before me ...

A) Sell the three boxen and build a new Intel Skulltrain system ..
B) Upgrade the Boxen ......

So ... Tomorrow ..... the UPS Driver will be brining me my little surprise

3 Intel Q6600 CPU's

If you think EvilAlchemist was gonna lay down ... think again ....

I have towels to fold ... and WU to complete

Thanks to ICE_9 for some coaching .....

And it seems you've done a very good job:)

Congrats on the new goodness Evil... looking forward to seeing you climb the ranks in record time!!

Oh, and did I mention that I'm a wee bit envious here..... no?

Alright then.... I'm a wee bit envious here:)

Me too, and at least he's keeping his work unlike me who always seems to take a hard dive at time -_-

Hey man... your not dead yet.. it's a lull, that's all.

And it's not like I'm on your threat list yet or anything, so don't worry, your safe:p

Well......

I see how it is... I get 2x Q6600's you need to get 3.

Humph, My balls are already on the line... I can't push much more..... (this month)

Where is this line you speak of? I must remember to stay the hell away from it :D

Oh, and damn you Evil... Just when I thought I might be able to match your production... This happens! :D Congrats man!

Oh no, not again. I just cleared my threat list
And only because Evil was down a computer.
It's become a good old fashion Arms Race, muhahahahah.

OC'd? you probably can just slap on 9x333fsb without any problems on stock volt, but the stock heatsink, I dunno... Nice though.

Well yes and no ....

Using Artic Freezer 7 .... so that helps..

CPU 2 & 3 boot .. and Oc'ed to 3.0Ghz in 30 seconds each
CPU 1 wants to be a pain .. Had it running at 2.7 because I was getting eue's left and right ....after about 30 in .. i tried OC'ing back up to 3.0Ghz ..again ... seems to have helped to give it a little burn in ...... all running now ......

Each one is getting about 2900 PPD on Project 3051 & 3050

Question, maybe we should attempt to get dual SMP up and running on this thing, which should and may net you 3.5-4k PPD from each machine. Does the creator of the CD Folding plans on making this possible?

Yes, you can run 2 smp clients on the diskless folders ...

The problems right now is that , unlike vmware, you still get the 4 core work units ...

so you only get about a 10% increase .....

Right now, i gotta let these get burned in and let the artic silver set correctly..

Once they are F@H Linux stable, then i will mess with them....

A q6600 can be stable in windows and crash running the diskless client .... takes a little time to get these boxen solid

"D" to 10k/day?

Can we change "D" to my favorite???

That begs the question - what about dual SMP on Windows natively? From the FAHMon, I'm seeing about 1k PPD increase from 3.2k...
