Get desktop icon text to show destop picture instead of color?

Im trying to get my other computer to look normal...
I want my desktop icon's text to show the desktop picture instead of the desktop color.

(note the fireball wisps continue through the icons


(Note how the blue is just blue there)

It should be just an option but I just can't find it
 
AFAIK that's not an option for Windows 2000 which is what it looks like you're using
 
but there is a program that i use to use when i has Win2k on my primary machine, i dont remember what it was called but for an icon it has the PacMan ghosts as the icon... lol... it worked pretty well, but crashed every now and then.
 
^_^ thanks for the info and input. Yeah, the other one is Win2k but I do have a computer running XP with that issue also.

For Win2K I used a little systray program called IconDesk to make my Desktop Icon labels transparent. It does other stuff, but making the desktop icon labels transparent was one of its options.
