Get data off dying SSD?

Hi.

I have a ~2 year old Kingston SSDNow V-Series 64 GB SSD in my HTPC build (running Win7 x64 SP1). Recently I had my HTPC freeze on me randomly and I didn't think much of it. Now it's freezing after a couple of minutes or so, haven't really tested it, maybe it's more like 15 mins.

Anyway, I came to the conclusion that it's the SSD's fault. Whenever the machine freezes, it was probably reading/writing from/to a broken block or something like that, I guess.
I ran a HD Tune Pro error scan and it froze after it reached a certain block. After restarting, I tried to copy some of the data SSD onto an external drive, but it froze again.

Is there any way at all to get the usable ("non affected" or whatever) data off the SSD? Or maybe even recover some of it?
I have a backup, but it's a couple of months old and I've made quite a few changes recently, they would just go to hell if I couldn't recover them.

Thanks in advance for any help!

Best regards.

Boot into safe mode and try those things.

First thing I thought of when reading your post was actually a clogged or dirty HSF somewhere causing you grief.
