I found the video files that I want to recover before my format. And I restored them successfully. But when I play these files, I get a message from Media Player Classic which says "Cannot Render This File" as if it were corrupt or something. All the video files that I recovered were like this.

what gives? :rolleyes:
 
The integrity of the files may be bad...Did you try playing the videos with something else besides MPC just in case and make sure you have the codec installed? (i.e. VLC)
