German Doom 3 benchies.....

If you look at the majority of the benchmarks, the 6800 line is doing better most of the time, and on top of that, we still have banding going on in the ATI cards from this source as well. I won't be crying for a while, knowing that your ATI cards are probally gaining 5-12 frames from their new optimazations, that worsen IQ.

The situation remains the same...the XTPE never did very badly in Doom3, it's just the GT and NU do so well...and the story hasn't changed...the GT still clobbers the Pro and the NU still stays neck and neck with the Pro...

Still no XTPE for sale...therefore...ATi is still hurting...
 
the lower precision (banding) must be something newly added to this driver set to improve performance, it wasn't there for Hardocp's tests.
 
I dont see anyone on here that needs a banning other then you Rifftgarde.

Hmm, Why don't they compare 1600x1200? Do the 6800's rape the x800's that bad? :p
 
lol its wouldn't just be a rape its like Ron Jermey and his back door adventures :D
 
Yeah, I also love how they make a slight eye illusion by making the ATI cards bar graphs in red, and the 6800's in grey, so in the tests where the x800's loose horribly, it still looks like they are ahead.
