Anyone know if these fans have been discontinued or something? I cant find them anywhere in stock and Ive read a few things regarding they may be discontinued.

I need a couple of 120mm quiet fans for my h50 as th fans that came with it are starting to get loud and annoying me! Any other recommendations or anyone know whats with the GT's?
 
I don't know if they are discontinued or not, but I was able to buy some from dazmode.com to finish off my wc build. I'm Canadian thought.
 
They just sale out really fast. Just got mine last week from frozencpu. They sold over 200 in 3 days. Why I went ahaed and got mine even though i havnt started my project yet.
 
It seems like they come back in stock once every 40 days or so to all the retailers. Seems like they sell out in a week or so because so many people want them, and with them being out of stock for a while the drive to buy buy buy goes up. I know I waited a week and as soon as they popped up I bought 6 (couple extras just in case). The GT does make more db than some fans but the noise is like a gentle hum rather than the sound of a fan.
 
I hooked one up just to hear it yesterday. All you really hear is the air moving and it moves a nice bit of air. Might just end up running them full speed. So much quieter then my old fans.
 
If it helps I went with the ap-14 model and am very pleased, I think at max fan speed it's just at the right db level so I wouldn't see myself going for the slightly louder ap-15. I also don't use a fan controller and use 3x s-flex E's @ 7v. My vendor of choice has been SVC.com they are located only a state a way from me.

Also be weary, turbulence from fan grills can make the fan louder than it really is...

Hmm yea im not that desperate so Ill try to hunt them down at a decent price...
 
Unless they're in the FS section I highly doubt you'll get them for a decent price with how the supply is right now.
 
performance pcs and frozen cpu have good prices on them when theyre in stock. I just bought 3 last month from one of them(can't remember which)
 
Yeah, it's getting nuts now. I bought 3 in mid 2010 for $13, four more in Jan for $12, now the only source I have is hovering at $21 ;z (Canuck land)
 
I'm pretty sure I read that they've discontinued making them en masse and that they're just made to order now. Kinda sucks.
