what does more RAM in your video card do?
does it mean it can support higher resolutions or faster FPS or load up graphics faster to minimize the wait time in loading up files or something?
what does a faster GPU do compared to having more RAM, where are the differences?
like, i used to play everquest a long time ago and i had a GeForce 2 MX 400 32 MB, then I upgraded to a GeForce 2 some spec with 64 MB and on the 32 MB, I could only run about 800x600 resolution, but with the 64 MB I could run 1024x768 pretty well, and almost go to 1280x1024.
so i'm confused i guess on the difference each part does, i've been trying to find some good websites with information on questions like this, but i couldn't find any good ones.
