Hi, thanks for reading ;)

I have a side fan (Lian Li PC-201 case) that is blowing directly on my Graphics card (Sapphire X1950 Pro 256), what im wondering is if I'll get better cooling performance if i turn it around so it sucks the hot air off the cards heatsink and blows it out.

Sorry for the newbie-ish question, hope someone here can help me ;)
 
If u build some kind of tunel that only sucks the air from the heatsinks maybe, if not i guess its better to blow cold outside air on to the heatsinks .
 
I'm using a Lian Li PC60B Plus 2 that has a 120mm case fan blowing directly onto the cardslot area. I tried this test just two days ago, and after loading the video card up it ran cooler with the fan blowing cold air in. Also, this affected the ambient temperature inside the case, as well as the processor max load temperature. It's best to have cold air coming in, in my case.

Yours may be different, however, because of your airflow in your case. Best thing to do is test it at idle and full load, then swap the fan and repeat the tests, using a temperature monitor of some sort (rivatuner has an amazing hardware monitor for this!)
