geil memory

For a P4 Geil is excellent.

Not the best for Amd's, they like bh-5 best (Mushkin pc-3500 level 2, Kingston Hyper X pc-3000 & hyper X pc-3500)
 
I run Geil in 2 different P4C machines. Works very well with them. Not a bad price either.
 
yeah, i want it in a amd board, and the price was very attractive, but i am getting mixed reviews for the amd systems

Get some Mushkin level 2 pc-3500 as bh-5 memory is no longer being made, now its ch-5.

The bh-5 is THE best money can buy. BUY IT WHILE U STILL CAN, its going quick. It might be already gone.
 
I'm using GEIL Ultra Platinum PC3500 Cas2. I'm very happy with it. While I don't have an NF2 board and AGP starts having problems at around 180 FSB, I know this stuff is good for over 200FSB as I have run it up to that with Prime95 running stable for 30 minutes before I took it back down. The artifacts were so bad at 200 that I almost couldn't make anything out on my screen, but it was enough to see Prime95.

True pc3500 should do 5-2-2 cas 2 @ 217 FSB+

I think he's talking about the AGP speed causing the artifacts, not the memory.
 
geil is good stuff, make sure u dont get anything w/ "value" on it, not the most reliable stuff out there
