Is it possible to trick a gaming application into thinking you have Pixel shader and vertex shader compatible hardware, when you don't? I have a toshiba laptop with a Geforce4 card. I can't imagine its possible, but it never hurts to ask :)

MY friend does this (he's a graphics programming student with a GF4 card.) It's possible.

I have no idea how, though.

Note: it runs like ass

You can enable NV25 emulation in rivatuner, but as pointed out above it really does no good. :p

What game(s) are you trying to fool?

There is no way you're going to be able to play EQ2 with that, especially in the cities... You could try though... mmm.... evercrack.....
