Im familiar with the ATI radeon cards having different placements of their RAM upon their cards from model to model.

My question is: Does the same apply to the placement of RAM for GeForce FX cards as wel?. I cant seem to find any good answers anywhere else and I need this information for a Watercooled RAM feature.

As far as I know, the ram is all the same on each model. 5900SEs have slower ram than a regular 5900, etc.

It's the placement and not the type that Im interested in. I thank you anyways for your response and bump.

5900xt and 5900nu have unique ram configs with all 8 BGA's on the top of the card, not arranged like the higher end models,

5900XT

5900nu, 5900u, and 5950u all have parhelia kinda ram configurations on the top and in the case of the 5900u and 5950u (since they have 256mb), the bottom on the pcb as well 5900NU
and 5900U/5950U

as for the mid and low-end cards, they mostly have the standard L shape 4 on top 4 on bottom ram configs. the 256mb cards sometimes have 8 and 8 or something
