with the geforce 7800 comming out on wed and scoreing about 7800 do you think teh card is a winner or not?

specs are 430 mhz
8 vertex shaders
24 pipes

3d 05 mark of 7800.

F that, i think we should wait for LEGITIMATE benchmarks and reviews before grading a card.

This poll is bullshit and flaimbait as far as im concerned. to grade a product that has not been released, with only a bogus 3dmark score that, rumors and speculation is retarded.

Shit, we might as well as grade the r520 for all we know, and hell lets go beyond that.

I hear they're both going to have 4 gigs of GDDR7 clocked at 5GHZ the GPU's are going to be clocked somewhere in teh neighborhood of 20-30 Ghz and each will have 1024 pixel pipes,and 720 vertex shaders. I hear both are going to use quantum diamond chips that operate in all 32 quantum states for unprecedented throughput.

IMO Its a winner because amazingly the card is coming out when its supposed too..
 
its not a mind blowing card but it is quite an evolutionary improvement and the fact is available is quite a bonus in my opinion.
 
I give this poll an F. Actually, that might be too generous. Why would you create such a poll when the thing is coming out in 2 days and you'll know for sure?
 
Dude while it is imaginary at this point, its no match for my imagination. I dream at like 100 fps and seriously they look much better than doom 3 OR half-life 2. Yea... I'm going to ignore the purpose of the poll and just rate the thread. F, wait till the card is out before you make threads that you probably should just use good judgement to never make.

I can;t really rate it yet since iut hasn't been officially benchmarked, but I'll give it a D raiting based on the leaked benches and info that has made it to the internet.

It's all marketing, this card should really be called the 6850 or 6900.

They slapped the 7xxx series name all over it to make enthusiasts wet their pants for the "next-gen" but in reality, this is nothing more than the 5950 of 2005.

That's not saying it won;t be the fastest card around, but I personally don't think it justifies a $500 dollar upgrade for someone who already owns a 6800 Ultra or x850XT PE. Not enough performance gains and furthermore, I dont see one damn game coming this year that needs more than a x800 pro, let alone a 7800 GTX. All about the e-penis :rolleyes:

How can you grade something that has not been properly reviewed? Should have had a "I DON'T KNOW YET" selection.
