geforce 6800 vs x800gto

[gib4500]

which one of these cards would perform better. i know the x800gto has 256 mb of memory compared to the 128 on the geforce 6800. also i think the core speed and memory speed is faster on the x800gto. i am debating between these 2 cards and also between the 6800gt and the x800xl. does anyone know which of these cards is better as well. thanks.

I have the 6800..., but i believe the GTO performs better since it has the same number of pipes, but one more vertex shader and high clock speeds.

x800gto is a better choice, I am pretty sure you cna mod it to x850xt.
as for x800xl vs 6800gt I would go with x800xl It is just my preference, most will tell you to take the 6800gt though.

this is how it looks imo:

at stock, they're pretty much on par i suppose..but ...

an agp 6800nu have mod possiblities

a pciexpress x800gto Connect3d Version have a mod of nearly 100% (40+ success, 1 failure) , to something like x800xt i believe, the r423 core
