ok, I have heard good things about this card (good performance for price / supposedly the reincarnate of the ti4200, etc.) ... but just like most every card out there, all are not created equal. So, the question is: What brand overclocks the best? GPU and Memory (as memory overclocks are increasingly more important...)
Thanks...

... i think hes talking about the 5900xt

I'll post in this again tomorrow, i'll throw in my friend's xt and see how far it'll go. he's got a gigabyte 5900xt. i havent had a chance to peek at the ram so i dunno what its maxspeed is. the cooling soultion looks decent, copper plate in contact with the core + ram (although only about 1/4 - 1/3 of each chip in really in contact via a thermal pad.) lotta copper fins soldered on. not very loud either. since all the ram is on one side of the pcb theres no backplate.
when i had the card in my system for about 15 mins yesterday i got about 800 less 3dmarks (3dm2001) than my 9700pro

he got the card for $180

i know he is talking about 5900xt's

Compussr has 9800pros BBA for 200 bucks

maybe he's not a fanboi of ATi... price isn't everything you know..

Performance is everything

Few months ago i was reccomending BFG 5900NU's for price/performance

But now the 9800Pro is such a better card for its price

yes i am talking bout the 5900XT - but hey I'll take a little info on ATI, considering I presently own one. (Card b4 this was an nVidia gf2 gts... so yes I buy best price/performance I can get... all depending on my thickness of wallet, which has been exceedingly thin of late...)
But still how well does the 5900XT overclock and what brand does it best?
