I'm having problems installing and using nVidia's driver for the ti 4600. I went on the nVidia website and downloaded the driver they offered for all Geforce and TNT2 video cards, but it seems it did not take effect. I also could not find a working alternative to this driver. As you can probably guess, I can't find my cd with the driver on it. Any suggestions? Thank.

Did you follow the installation instructions?

Did you use the driver cleaner utility?

Here are the basic driver install steps.

1. Download the new drivers (and driver cleaner if you don't have it yet)
2. Go to the control panel and uninstall all the Nvidia drivers in the Add/Remove programs area.
3. Restart the computer into safemode.
4. Run Drvier Cleaner (found at driverheaven.net) for Nvidia cards
5. Restart in Normal Mode
6. Install the new drivers
