GeForce 2 to a GeForce 4..?

I have a GeForce 2 in right now, and it works just fine. I tried to put a 4 in..and when i boot up, all i get is POST beeps..and it just won't work.
 
That board should be compatible, but check online to see if they have some sort of compatibility list of AGP cards. Some older chipsets are picky.

You could also:
-Try re-seating the card
-Clear the CMOS
-Flash the BIOS

All pretty obvious but its all I could think of.
 
i've flashed the BIOS already, i haven't tried anything else yet..haven't had the chance..thanks
