atm its the only spare video card i have, and i wanna assemble all the extra computer bits i got laying around into a working PC.

problem i have is the motherboard i have is a kt 400 based board(soyo kt 400 dragon) whish supports 1.5 volt apg video cards.

i m wondering if the geforce 2 mx 400 will cause problems for me(im unsure if its a 3.3 volt or a 1.5 volt card. its an old visiontek branded card. and it will do agp 4x trasfer rates.)

any advice woudl be appreciated. id liek to get my other system back up and running.

No problems. AGP 4x and 8x are interchangeable. Basically, if the card fits in the slot, you're ok. AGP 2x (3.3v) are slotted so they cannot fit into a 4/8x board.

perfect, thanks, another folding box will be born from the shambles that is my parts box. :D

i actually have a computer with the exact same motherboard and graphics card. it works great.
