GeForce 196.75 drivers out. 300 series drivers listed.

nVidia has released 196.75 drivers.

When I was using the drop down menu to grab the driver for my GTX275, I noticed they have 300 series cards listed. I was unaware of a 300 series card. Can someone explain? Thanks.

wrong, there are no mobile 300 series cards.

300 series cards are OEM only cards. Not enthusiast class cards.

Yeah, alienware's new netbook-ish laptop (possibly the best value I've seen from them yet) has a gt 335. It's mobile and rebrands for sure.

Keep in mind that the laptop series by no means matches up performance to desktop series. For example, the Mobile GTX260 is like the equivlent to an 8800GT performance wise.

yeah its either the 9800GT(8800GT) or the 9800GTX(8800GTS) cant remember the shader count on the gtx 260m..

the 3xxM series are the 210, 220, and 240m series rebranded to 3x0 series with dx 10.1 support..
