GDDR3 or DDR?

I saw on newegg a Geforce 6800 for $230, one was GDDR3 one was DDR, Which one is better? What's the difference?

The GeForce 6800 nu comes in both DDR or GDDR3. It doesn't really matter either way.
 
Regular old DDR uses 2.5v and GDDR3 uses 1.8v-2v. Both are double data rate (DDR) and even the "DDR" 6800s are most likely GDDR.

At 350MHz DDR (700MHz effective), both are running at CL4. GDDR3 uses less power, but performance will be the same. The board layout for the 6800 models all use BGA memory.

newegg tends to have a lot of misprints, so regular "DDR" 6800s you see might actually be GDDR3. Check the card manufacturer's product page to verify.
 
GDDR3 all the way!

It is much faster than GDDR1... and it runs MUCH MUCH cooler, and it has much higher overclockibility.... if ur into it... or even if ur not...
It also runs much more stabile...
