Are there any programs out there which will allow you to view the contents of a gateway computer hard drive? They seem to be using some form of weird fat 32 file system but normal computers cant read it.

Any ideas?

Never heard of a proprietary fat32. I have worked on a few Gateways in the past and never ran into something like that. One possibility is if it is a larger drive on an older system it could have a dynamic overlay doing the LBA addressing. Best way to test that would be to set that drive as master and try booting to it. If it shows something to the effect of "Western Digital EZ Bios" (Brand could be anything) after POST it probably has a DDO. Only way I could think of to strip the data would be to boot it from a floppy using it's own DDO and dump to another drive or network share. Someone else may have a better idea for ya though.
