Gateway FPD1730 LCD Problems

Hello all. I am new to this forum. A friend gave me a Gateway FPD1730 LCD monitor that does not seem to be working. I get a power light and that is all. No OSD or anything. I took it apart and found a fuse, right where the power cord plugs in, and replaced it. That did not fix it. Any suggestions on what else I could check or replace, or should I just trash it? Thanks in advance.
