Gateway 22inch help.

I game alot and I run a 42 Inch LG Plasma but I want to step away from that and into LCD. The Question I have is do you think a 22inch LCD HD PC Monitor would be too Small.

What do you think? Another thing also. Do you think it would have Ghosting or any Bleeding Affects. Ive read alot of Reviews that said that Bleeding is an Issue
 
i have it and it seems huge to me but i had a 19" CRT befor
also you have to remeber with a monitor your sitting less then 3 feet from it so itll look much bigger then it realy is
 
I have the Gateway 24" and the bleeding seems to be common on the top right corner. As far as the 22", the bleeding on that is common on the top and bottom going across the screen horizontally.
 
i went to circuit city and best buy and looking at alot of the monitors i noticed that a huge majority of them have some sort of bleeding. i did pick up this monitor and it does have a little bleeding but its nothing to make me scream and cry over 431 dollars.

I couldnt ask for anything better looking myself. its my first LCD and i am very impressed with it and once the new Xbox 360 is released with HDMI I will use that instead of my components

If you set your monitor's backlight to it's highest setting, and put your screen on a pure black background, can you see any light flickering of the backlight? Just curious, I noticed this on my FPD2275W...
 
Nope. Im not having that issue at all. the tech at gateway said that i can send it in for a repair or whatever needs to be done with it. it has one hell of a picture and is a beautiful monitor. i tryed 2 of them so far and i got a 3rd. gonna try that one 2 here in about 5 mins
 
yea its a great monitor WoW, FFXI, and Oblivion look great on it in wide screen
cant wait to get a 8800GTS to really drive it hehe ^^ my 7800GT is getting a bit long in the tooth
