Gateway 22" Model: FPD2275W

I just want to know what kind of panel it uses. However I don't think there is any chance it will be S-IPS at that price and most likely the same panels the other 22's use.

According to Gateway's website, it is listed as a S-PVA. http://support.gateway.com/s/MONITOR/7005719R/7005719Rsp2.shtml

The supervisor who I spoke to claimed it is a Samsung panel, but I'm not sure about that due to most other 22" monitors. So if anyone could shed some light concerning this, it would be appreciated as I can't locate information regarding which panels Samsung manufactures.

I just purchased this monitor as I needed a new one due to a failing CRT, and the features seemed right for me. It also supports 1:1 pixel mapping over each input, which is nice for those who require it. Regardless, here's hoping that it's a decent monitor because Gateway's return policy isn't the best.

The FPD2275W is on the Best buy, CompUSA, and Microcenter websites. So here's hoping they have floor models soon.

Fruf can you let us know how much backlight bleed you have? Hoping Gateway might have fixed this issue common with most 22in panels.

I have the FPD2185W, and if this monitor is anything like it, it should be absolute pwnage.

VGA, DVI, Composite, S-Video, Component + Faroudja DCDi + S-PVA panel = win.

Only "flaw" is a rather loud inverter buzz.
