The other thread is....too long...

I took a couple more pics of the display in action...hard to figure out my camera settings for the room....with flash, it is too bright, without it, too dark....got to play with it some more....but anyways you get the idea....

edit: that drink on the right of the display is a bacardi and diet sprite...yummee:p

Kind of like getting a dual core cpu, now that I have used a widescreen display, I won't use a "plain" one ever again...

In fact, I am so jazzed on it, I am getting a 51" widescreen HD rear projection tv as well to replace my 6yr old 35" :rolleyes: :p

Denaps, how do you like your razer exact mat? I have seriously been debating getting one. Actually Im going to create a thread on that, so answer in there if you have time to.
 
well since i can't find that post yet i will just say it here:

i really like the mousepad a lot. it's cool because it has dual surfaces - you can flip it over for smoother/rougher durface depending on what mouse you have and what you like. plus it's huge and i like having all that space. it comes with a wrist rest which i use sometimes, but it gets annoying at times (because i'm not used to having one) so i keep putting it on and taking it off.

the rubber corner feet are AWESOME too - and the are on both sides - the pad doesn't move anywhere at anytime unlses i pick it up and move it.

i don't really like the mx518 too much - it's too damn big - i'm hoping someone will get me the copperhead i asked for for christmas.
 
Please do not buy the copperhead, I repeat, do not buy the copperhead. It is NOT a good mouse, you have to update the firmware with it ( very stupid ) and it is just not designed that good. If you want one go with the Logitech g5 or the Razer Diamondback if you wanna stick with a non laser. I have the diamondback and couldnt be happier, well once I get a new pad ill be happier. :p
 
Cool denap, looks like your games look great on the LCD as well....

On a side note: the icemat is the best "mouse pad" I have ever used. I like smaller footprints, the ratpadz is too big....for those that don't know, the icemat is made of glass.

We should start a "pic" only widescreen LCD thread :p And consolidate the two threads...
