I am really considering this monitor. Here is a reveiw on it Clicky

Anyone have this monitor? Will my X800XT PE be good enough to run it properly for gaming? Thanks

I bought one when they came out and my only gripe was the backlight was a little uneven. I held off for a while and just bought a new one about a week back. Still has a slightly uneven backlight on the left side (always on this side) of the screen, but after toying around with the settings it's not that bad at all. I guess it's pretty common though as even my Sharp LCD TV is a little brighter on one side of the screen and the same with a Apple Cinema display I once owned. Downsides of the way LCD's are lit up, but hey, other than that, these Gateway LCD's kick ass and look wonderful for games. This is really one fast LCD for games! Your video card should be able to handle most games at that rez, but who knows about the new games coming out. If you can live with the uneven backlight, which I'm sure some people really don't notice as much as me since I'm really anal about things, this LCD kicks serious ass.

How much did you get it for? Some other poster got his for $450 or something like that at office depot.

I'm going to go with a 2005, but if I can get this one for $450 I'll go with this one instead.
