I am looking for some pictures so that i can use to make some paintings form-

basically there are 2 girls who are painting some really cool pictures for mydads house (ill post pictures later) and I asked them if they could paint me a few pictures for my room. I have a few pictures that i am think about having them paint........ But I was wondering if you guys had or could find some others.

I am looking for picutres from games like-
Half-Life 2
Counter Strike
Doom3
Far Cry
(any other cool ones)

Also they said that if anyone liked the them that they would love to do it for you guys too.

I can't help but think this wall will become very dated very fast. Maybe make it more timeless with a gaming history montage; like the evolution of Mario or Zelda or something. Just throwing out some ideas.
 
With what you just said, all i have to say is "your very right", but I wouldnt mind getting new ones every 6 months or so. I mean I could either sell them or move them around.

But does anyone have any other pictures, to help me out???
 
eh, one sugestion...beofre she starts painting, make sure that whatever she does doesnt end up looking like a 7 year olds bedroom mural. something like half life would be cool, just dont go way overboard
 
put them on like banners or big posters so they can be taken down easily and even sold if needed. :)

Hay, All i ment about that, is that if this thing turns out as good as what she did in out front entry and dinning room. Then heck, by asking if you guys want one,,,, then why in the world would i say no.

Im not trying to turn a profit. Just trying to help you guys out :)

Meh, what if one day Nvidia goes out of buisness? Or you suddenly start to prefer ATI cards (You never know)?

IMO, putting a brand name isnt a good Idea. Maybe a game (Like the HL2 logo, not a screenshot) or something.

Or something timeless and classic, Like The Legend of Zelda? Or mario? Or even Pacman!

Especially not the Nalu (or whatever her name is). If friends come over, theyll think your odd with pictures of mermaids on your walls...
 
sounds like a great idea, but as for nvidia paintings...you could probably go to a LAN and pick up some posters....but im sure the paintings will look a lot different than posters would.

edit: i agree witht he person above me. buying a poster would be alot better than painting because you can just take it instead of painting over it. would also be cheaper

Yeah, especially since Nalu isn't hot by any stretch of the imagination. White eye shadow. Ugh...:rolleyes:
 
that mermaid painting will go nicely with some other paintings of rainbows and various other flowery things.
 
All i wanted to do was have something different and cool in my room. And yes I have a tons of posters but was looking for something a liitle different.

And yes Nvidea is the top dog now and my not be tomarrow but still, that is my chose to do it and not yours.

I thought that you guys would have thought that would be perty cool
 
IN a way, yeah, it's cool. However, a painting will look NOTHING like a poster in terms of quality. Sit on that for a while..
 
paint a whole inside of a closet
dont ruin the walls over soemthing that will get tired real fast

it can be your secret gaming room or something
 
well if you painted the whole wall something like this:

This is what I meant, Plus, If any friends come over, well, you know, mermaids?

Plus, any girls you bring home will think your a weirdo with a mermaid one your wal...

yep, it's a pretty gay term.
and there's nothing bad about hanging brands on your wall, not my can of beans, but I see no fault with it.
