First off I really enjoy this forum before I use google now I use [H] to find answers and then google, before I buy stuff I check the FS/FT Threads, [H]ot Deals, before i go to my B&M stores and eBay... I find it there is no other place to whine so here is my Question/Suggestion why you guys cant make the general gaming like the video card section

Nvidia Flavor and ATI Flavor

I know these 2 are the only VGA Manufacturer in there when it comes to Videocards, what I really want to see is XBOX ( 1 & 360 ) & PS (1, 2 & 3) Nintendo (not familiar with the series) all on a different thread under gaming and the rest falls into the General category... I could be wrong but you get the idea? just to organize different platforms/console etc...Thanks...more power...

I dont know if this has been asked before or not just want to throw it in there since I just bought a xbox 360... thanks...
 
I think thats been addressed before. The problem with that alot of games for the consoles are also on alot of other consoles. Sure there may be a console specific game once in a while but those threads are usually minimal.

yeah it was worth a try...only viable anwser could be here is that [H] users are more into PC related stuff than gaming consoles hence, alot of the sections/threads here are PC stuff, i think the gaming console here is just like a perk, but hey im not complaining i like the forum, i like the people, and I like the reviews/././././ so more power...
 
As has been mentioned most comnsole games are multiple console hence the reason to not separate them out. Most of the threads tend to be about games not hardware. If it was about gaming hardware then i could see separating them.
 
yeah thats what Im about the console/hardware itself, seeing this wont pique any interest might as well kill this thread...
 
The idea's been shot down before, it's basically not likely to happen.

It's already (not too long ago) been divided PC gaming and console gaming, as well as general gaming, and that really seems good enough. For most people.
 
In a perfect world on a perfect forum it would be possible to have a forum/sub-forum for each and every piece of equipment. Since nothing is perfect we keep everything as simple as possible here. The format we are using is adaquate and is only in question when we have a flurry of newly released consoles. new games or anything new that draws a lot of attention. As I always say, this too shall pass, the crest of the wave will wash over fairly soon and normality will once again prevail.
