Hey all,

Wondering if anyone had any good/cheaper Recommendations for a Basement Projector to play video games on (Xbox 360/One, PS3/4, maybe some bluRay action as well)

I don't need the best thing since sliced bread but if there is a good middle ground (720P version) that can really pump out the goods i am game. I am not super detail oriented most of the time i watch everything in SD Quality. But i like nicer things! trying to stay under 500$ but i am not adverse to spending a bit more for better quality product i.e. 800$

Additional Information
My basement isn't Pitch black it does have some light get in but mostly its somewhat dark, as i know this can deal with the Lumens value, and if it had a Audio out jack for plugging headphones in my wife would love that!

I have no projection screen at this time i plan on pushing it on a wall until i can get one that suits the need.

Just wanted to see if a [H]Brother or Sister would help a guy out :)

Acer H5370BD - $485
Acer H5380BD (new) - $549
Optoma 131x (1080p amazon warehouse deal) - $606
Benq w770st (short throw) - $529
Optoma H180X - $449 new or $364 used
optoma gt760 (short throw) - $569

Not sure if all these are current prices, but i grabbed this list from AVS forum on ~ $500 projectors from 4/3/14. The Acer H5380BD is supposed to be pretty good.

Stick with the Optoma projectors, they are the best bang for the buck. Check out avsforum for more information as well.
