mmm...now debating whether I need extreme performance (if someone could help that'd be great).

Have an offer for $1050 to buy the following:

3800+
Msi Neo 2
1gb of Ballistix Ram
Super Lan Boy Case
PNY 6800Ultra
Zalman Heatsink

Might be a little overkill for myself was trying to find a nice A64 system for around $900, if I'd complete this one it'd probably come close to $1200 if not more, I'm coming from the following shit *you can laugh now*

p4 2.53
1024 sd ram
128mb mx440
some crappy ecs mobo

What can I say, I think a 9800pro would probably be gold for me, but on the otherhand, this comp would probably last me for the next 2-4 years for gaming pretty easily I would think.

I say stick with what you have b/c you'll take a big loss selling it unless you can find someone with a lesser system that you would want and they are willing to trade you and ass cash

What I have = nothing hehe I just sold my comp so I have nothing hehe.

i say just get a 3200+(winchester core) and a 6800gt, go pci-e with the option of SLI later.................and overclock the 3200+ to 2.5 ghz...

If you can get that A64 system for $1050 i'd take. You'd be a fool not to. The 3800+ is $600+ and the $6800U is $500 retail. A gig of RAM will cost you $200+. The Neo2 is $140+. And the Lanboy case will cost you at least $70. That system would cost over $1500 retail.

Burning Grave is correct, that's a great deal on the 3800/6800u. If you have the money you won't be disappointed with what you get. You can probably recoup the money spent on finishing your system by parting out the old one. If I was in your situation I would definitely go with the 3800 system. Waiting for a great deal shouldn't be a choice because you've got one right now.

I agree with him, that is one killer deal.
