I am looking to build new Gaming PC. I have never built a system before, have never even upgraded one. I have used laptops for gaming for years. I hate to use the term but I am a total noob. I have had friends or IT people take care of all my problems, I have never even installed windows.
I have a budget of $2500 USD. This amount must cover all parts including a monitor.
So far this is the build I have been looking at
Case http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16811119225 $180
PSU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16817171049 $170
Mobo http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16813157263 $255
CPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16819115072 $225
Ram http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16820233144 $90
GPU http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?item=N82E16814121489 $490
Total: $1410
I have chosen the Motherboard and the PSU for the upgrade options they give me later on. I am not sure about this Motherboard, it seems that people are having a ton of problems with, but it seems to be the best socket 1155 Motherboard that has PCI express 3.0.
I would like to have a SSD for a boot drive and a 2TB HDD for primary storage.
Thanks to all those who reply in advance. You are helping turn a noob into, well, not a noob!
