Hi, could anybody help me out?
I like to have my main widescreen display set to secondary and use the smaller 17 inch display as the primary, but i like to game on the widescreen aswell. But as games run on the primary display, i have to go thru and set it all up in catalyst, and then back when ive finsihed playing.

Is there anyway to get games to run on the secondary by default? Is there something i can do in catalyst?

Cheers

Some games, in the setup screens (the one you setup before starting the game) have a list of "graphic devices". I've always wondered what was the effect of changing it. I recently started using two screens, and well, the option is what you are looking for.

The only problem with this is that not all the games allow you to choose the graphic device. I'm sure alot of the games allow this in configuration files.

Here's an example of the option in the setup screen of ToCA 3

So in my case, using "Radeon x1950 Series Secondary" will start the game full screen on my second monitor.

Hope it helps

Thanks for the help guys.
I found a shortcut round it. There is an option in catalyst that lets you assign display setup profiles, and tie them to applications. so when i switch the profile or launch C&C it detects it and sets the monitors accordingly.
I then revert back and use the default profile when done.

Much quicker and easier than before.
