Gaming on non-native resolution -> windows move

Something I learned way back in windows 2k, put your second monitor on the left of the gaming one and the windows usually do not move around.

I'm just making an educated guess here, but I think the coordinates for window positions are numbered left to right and top to bottom and it treats the entire desktop as one giant screen. When you lower the resolution on the left monitor the stuff on the right one gets shifted to the left because the windows still have the same coordinates.
