Gaming Mouse

I've been trying to decide between the Deathadder and the G9 for like, ever.
 
When I played competitive counter-strike a few years ago, the only legitimate choice was the mx520. Now that I've gotten back into gaming, I don't know why you would need anything more than that. The G5 seems to be basically the same version, but laser instead of optical.

I never liked the Razer brand, and I don't know what you're getting for the price premium you pay for them. Mouse technology has come pretty far in the past 10 years, and I can't seem to expect any improvement over an mx520 as the thing works perfectly.

I've tried alot of mice, that includes the mx520 and G5, personally I found the Deathadder just fit my hand really nicely, and price premium? I managed to get my death adder for 42$ canadian it was on sale, the G5 was 59$. I'm not knocking the G5, I just like the Deathadder that much more.
 
Except for the G9, every other Logitech gaming mouse is ugly as hell---to the point of unacceptable, or even nonsensical.

That's your opinion. I personally have no problem with the aesthetics of Logitech mice, and I find them much more comfortable than nearly all other brands. Not to mention significantly better-built.
 
Way to go, buy a mouse based on it's look (like 90% of the guys on this board) rather than #1a how it fits your hand and #1b how it performs for you.

I've had a diamondback 3g for a while now, and I have absolutely no complaints about it. Great mouse since I had to replace my 1g (died after 5-6 months, but this one is still going strong). What's awesome though is that I basically got the new one for free. I bought it full price, put the old one in the box and returned it haha.
 
I've ordered myself a Roccat Kone mouse. After using a MX Revolution for a while, it was awesome. Now the batteries are slowly dying.
 
I looked into the Roccat Kone, but I didn't see any US sites selling them.

I just got home with the MX Revolution for $35. This thing is awful, and I don't understand what all the glowing reviews are about. The mouse feels like it has a weight all along the bottom, and no matter how I tweak the speed and sensitivity, it feels like my cursor is moving either slower or faster than my actual movements.
 
Gotta vote for the Deathadder. Logitechs just feel so cheap afterwards.
