I am looking to buy a 19" LCD monitor that I will use for gaming. The only reason I am tentative about this is because I play my games in low resolutions (640x480 or 800x600, 1024x768 max) and I am not sure if this will work well with an LCD monitor that has a higher native resolution. I have been told that it differs from game to game, but I mainly play CS 1.6 and BF2 so I was wondering if anyone had any experience playing these games in low resolutions on these 2 monitors:

BenQ FP91G+
SAMSUNG 940b

What would you guys suggest?

I play a lot of games on my 930b at non native resolutions, and don't notice any graphics problems.

I would say go for the samsung.

I play mostly HL-2 Multiplayer, Quake 4, and Doom 3

There are 32 reviews for the VX924 on the newegg website.
not one mentions scaling up from non-native resolutions. I have the monitor at home, when I'm done with work, I'll let you know.
