My mom and dad want a new laptop for gaming. She likes to play Titan Quest and he wants to play the new Wolfenstein.
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Gaming, web browsing, watching movies
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
$1700.00 before tax and ship
3) Where do you live?
Las Vegas, NV.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. Please be very specific.
Need the whole thing. They will not be building this themselves
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
No parts to be reused
6) Will you be overclocking?
No
7) What size monitor do you have and/or plan to have?
As large as the budget will allow (17"?)
They have old eyes so a good display is a must
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Immediately
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? etc.
not sure, they just want to game mostly. They don't plan on doing to much else with it. Dad did mention he'd like a blue-ray player. He may be willing to expand his budget by a hundered or two to add this feature
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license?
No, will need to come loaded with OS
Parents are in their mid to late fifties and still game, how cool is that?
