Gaming headset - $0-70 range

Im in need of a new headset for gaming, but dont want to spend over $80.
I had the Razer Baracudas (twice actually), but they dont seem to hold up with the wear and tear of taking it on and off daily.

Has anyone tried the Razer Pirahanas? If so, do they have the digital connection like the Baracuda?

Any other suggesstions? (Mic is a must).

does it have to be one of those gaming headsets? you could always get a pair for RX900s for $55 and a zalman mic for about $5 and you'd be good to go.

Having owned numerous gaming headsets, I can say that my current setup is the best so far. Sennheiser HD 555 with a cheap Logitech desktop mic. You get the mic which you want and a superior set of headphones which, if treated well, will out last ANY gaming headset.
