Ok so recently playing starcraft 2 my friends are having trouble hearing my voice and im having trouble hearing myself talk over starcraft 2. i am currently using Audiotechnica's ATH-M50 with a zalman clip on mic.

Mainly im looking for a strictly gaming headset. for music of coarse ill use my audiotechnica but i need a headset with a microphone attached to it that will also give me some voice feedback. now i was looking at some of turtle beaches headphones for the PC cause their Xbox sets are great but not sure if this is the best way to go. max price i wanna spend is 60 dollars. also if anyone has suggestions on settings i can change to improve my experience, i'm all ears. (hehe)

Strange you are having trouble with a zalman clip on mic. I've used one and I've found it to be very sensitive. Mine even picks up on my case fan noise. You sure you got your levels turned up?

ill check again. is there anyway for me to hear my self in my phones with the mic?

check "listen to this device" and i'm pretty sure you'll hear the feedback of yourself talking.

yea ive messed with that before but there is a delay. the turtle beach phones is real time. it helps to stop you from talking so loud without realizing it

there might be an option with the headphones or mic's software, but i think thats the only way to do it from within the OS.

yea thats the thing. cause they just normal headphones with a clip on mic there is no software with them, which is why im looking for a new set of headphones. thx 4 the suggestion though
