Can you all supply me with some thinks of where to buy gaming "threads"
Thanks. I need a new wardrobe.

walmart

buy a few t-shirts, some iron on transfers, and make your own

Now I'm a nerd through and through. I enjoy video games, and am more knowledgeable then my peers when it comes to the computer.

I however draw the line, when it comes to wearing gaming gear / clothes. I don't really feel the need to promote the fact that I am an uber turbo 6000 nerdlinger.

I fit in so easily in my school being a dork, and honestly people dont know what mozilla/css/computers are anyways, so its fun being half dork, half normal.

I was thinking the same thing, I just didn't want to be the one to say it. Constructing an entire wardrobe around gameing t-shirts might not be the best move for ones social standing.

I enjoy then all, and I get some funny comments from random people who understand them. Strangely enough when people understand the wierd jokes on my shirts, they have a strong desire to come up to me and announce that they understand it.

My social life does not suffer, and my girlfriend will soon be getting :

I dunno, some people can wear it and some can't. I see a few people wearing Homestar shirts, game shirts, etc and it gives em that "geek" look.

Then there's a few on campus that I see that look horribly nerdly wearing em though... they also smell... there could be a correlation...

I'm assuming the 42 shirt is in reference to Hitch Hikers Guide to the Galaxy?

What else does 42 represent besides the meaning of life.

this is an embarassing thread to read. go to salvation army and buy some old man clothes. or this...

Haha, that's a cool shirt above (All our base are belong to you). :p

I made two shirts of my own. One of 'em is my Quake III team t-shirt which I pride myself in wearing and the other is my own custom made, "I <3 Leets" t-shirt. And very few people know what 'leet' is (in school, at least) except my very close friends who are far from computer savvy.

I think I have a Quake 2 hat somewhere. No one knows what it means, but its a cool hat nonetheless and the Q logo with the nails is kinda cool. Its sorta Stealth Nerdy.

However, my Jedi hat....well, no hiding that one :D

That binary shirt rocks... reminds me of some good times in Computer Engineering class in high school.

I also have a self-made shirt that is plain white, with simple black letters that state:

My mom says I'm cool....

The pop-ups caused by these sites, make baby jesus cry.

Not using firefox makes him cry more :). Or at least some kind of popup blocker. I got none from those sites.

I have a pop-up blocker ... usually works very well.

i love funny shirts. i have "Slacker" and "waking up at noon $0, watching TV the whole day $0, realizing you are a slacker.....PRICELESS" i want to get some more from jinx, like music pirate and "i download music from internet"

Lol I wouldn't be caught dead wearing gaming/geek shirts. I guess i'm a closet nerd...i'm liking it also :D

Uhh yeah, I think that's the joke. We're all very proud that you know about Schrodinger's Theory.

I have to laugh at people who wear the shirts coded in Perl. All that says to me is, "I have poor personal hygiene. Stay downwind of me." Cruel stereotype? You betcha.

Prove me wrong.

i don't see whats so funny about that. the only type of person who would wear that shirt is:

1. nerdy

2. want to show off the nerdiness

3. don't know jacksh** but still want to look smart.

who the fuc* cares if ur right or not

ps: next time you try to flame me, do it like an f'n man and say it in the topic itself. don't waste my pm space and then go all out with all your pretty little swear words and put downs. it truly shows exactly how much intelligence you got, when all you do is swear when you try to diss other people.

thank you Finalgt, thats EXACTLY what I wanted.

Really, you are all just shells in your normal life, because I have found ANYONE who looks at these forums is a computer dork. Why hide it when people wont understand what the firefox logo is anyways?!?? maybe you can change a few minds on IE and stop the popup frenzy.

For you others, stop hiding your like for computers or at least wear it out there for the other computer dorks to see.

what makes you a dork is not wearing geeky shirts, but hiding and denying ur geeky side. when som1 calls me a geek i just say yeah i am a geek and a very proud 1.
