Gaming Forum - enforcement?

So I know that the splitting-up of the gaming forum between PC and console was/is controversial, but that's not what this is about. Personally I think it's a good idea, and it's definitely cut-down on the "pc vs console" arguments. However, it seems like the division is not being enforced at all. The general gaming forum is full of threads that belong under one of the subforums - the thread about CS:Source is clearly pc-related, while the metroid prime: hunters friend codes thread should obviously be under consoles.

I think the change was for the best, but there's not a lot of point in making a rule unless it's going to be enforced, you know?

Anyways, I don't mean to be just dumping on you guys - props to kyle and all the admins for running this place and keeping it in good shape - I love it here

I have defninitely noticed this.Also, at times, it seems like everyone just puts their threads on the general gaming section, and they don't even use the console games forum. I think threads should be closed, deleted, or moved just to show that this is serious.

The forum will straighten itself out in time, it isn't an overnight task to retrain the thinking of some of the members. Give it time.
