Ello, I'm in the Navy and I really don't have the time right now to build myself a computer and I want to get a new gaming computer because my XPS2(1st generation) just isnt cutting it anymore. My budget is $2,000 give or take a couple hundred. I dont know what vendors are trustworthy or sell well made products. I do want to be able to play games like oblivion and stalker with high settings. If I've left any needed information out just let me know.

I would recommend that you take a look in the Computers & Gadgets" forum here on the [H]. This kind of question is exactly what that section is for. To get you started though, Velocity Micro, Maingear, and AVAdirect (just to name a few) all seem to be rather well liked around here. Also, take a look at the [H] consumer reviews to get a rough idea of what to expect from the companies in terms of quality and service.

Good luck!

Hypersonic-PC is great. I wouldnt buy a dell XPS, too over priced for what you get its sad...

If you have any questions about Velocity Micro's systems (either the custom builds on the website or the Best Buy products), feel free to drop me a line. I'd be more than happy to help! :D

I vote MainGear bar none they are the best I've ever bought a computer from!

Besides from performance, reliabilty, and service there computers are immaculate!

-Xcoolix =P

Dont do that ><

What if he gets confused and buys from them due to their flashy and loud website?
