For a third party. Existing build is a Nehalem i7 (can't remember exact one) at stock (never figured out how to OC it, and some slots on the mobo are failing) with a 6870. Looking to order ASAP.

No real budget but is somewhat price conscious. Already cut down a lot of stuff from the initial build (1200w Corsair PSU, Asus z170 Maximus Hero, GTX 980, etc.).

Gaming focused build with maybe a mild overclock (although it is likely the guy won't ever OC). Plan is a graphics card and maybe a display upgrade or addition down the line (1-3 years, or when it becomes an issue). Not interested in multi-gpu.

Plan is to at least keep the platform as a whole for as long as possible.

Everything will be ordered from Newegg (tax and logistics reasons) except the last 3 items.

CPU - Intel Core i7-6700K 4.0GHz Quad-Core Processor - $360

Heatsink - Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO - $31

Memory - Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB (2 x 8GB) DDR4-2400 - $100)

PSU - EVGA Supernova G2 750w - $125 - $20 rebate

Monitor - AOC G2460PG 144hHz 24inch G-Sync Monitor - $400

Case - Nanoxia Deep Silence 1 ATX Mid Tower (White) (Ordering from Nanoxia). Desk won't fit wider case such as the Define R5. Currently fits an Antec 1200.
