So the last PC I built was many years ago and I've fallen out of what's in and out for the most part ... I specced out a build that should suffice, but after doing some research I think I may be doing a bit of overkill ... so I come for assistance ... any I can get is greatly appreciated
1) What will you be doing with this PC? Gaming? Photoshop? Web browsing? etc
Primary purpose is gaming (BF3, PS3, etc.) Basically I want it to run games for the next couple years with all the settings maxed at 1920x1080 Res.
Secondary purpose is going to be work stuff (Adobe CS4/5). Anything from Photoshop to AfterEffects/Premier
2) What's your budget? Are tax and shipping included?
Under $2k total. If I can keep it under $1,500 even better
3) Which country do you live in? If the U.S, please tell us the state and city if possible.
FL, USA ... I would like to purchase it all from NewEgg as I've had good luck from them in the past and I can get it all in one place, at what I believe is a reasonable price. I am open to suggestions though if I can save a good bit of cash.
4) What exact parts do you need for that budget? CPU, RAM, case, etc. The word "Everything" is not a valid answer. Please list out all the parts you'll need.
Here is everything I have specced out so far. I would like to stick with Intel/Nvidia. I am not married to going SLI right away if it is not needed. The SSD I want just for the OS and Adobe Suite, everything else can live on the HD (which I would like to RAID 0)

Total for all this is $1,979.85
5) If reusing any parts, what parts will you be reusing? Please be especially specific about the power supply. List make and model.
None.
6) Will you be overclocking?
I'd be willing to overclock the graphic card if need be, but I'd rather just run everything stock.
7) What is the max resolution of your monitor? What size is it?
1920x1080. Single Monitor. 24" (Most Likely)
8) When do you plan on building/buying the PC?
Within the next two weeks.
9) What features do you need in a motherboard? RAID? Firewire? Crossfire or SLI support? USB 3.0? SATA 6Gb/s? eSATA? Onboard video? etc.
SLI, RAID 0,5 (I do have 4 160GB SATA drives that it would be nice to RAID 5 for important stuff but this is not a deal breaker or even needed)
10) Do you already have a legit and reusable/transferable OS key/license? If so, what OS? Is it 32bit or 64bit?
Buying a new copy of Win 7 Pro 64bit
