I want this case, but I cannot find it for sale ANYWHERE. It was supposed to be produced and shipped back in June. Anyone know what happened to it? Is there anywhere to get one?
 
Not sure. I know Apple won a case last week not allowing any clones of their G5 cases. And the gaming bomb II looks like a G5 clone. I just hope they were not affected...
 
Oh my gosh that is freaking ridiculous. I read some more in the team chenbro forums, and all they are saying is, "they are coming, they are coming". People have been waiting on them for over a month. Also, people have emailed Chenbro many times, and said they have been ignored, but I may try it anyway.
 
i wouldn't be suprised if they were affected from apple. it does look a lot like a g5. but who knows
 
According to the chenbro dude at quakecon, the GBII case "should be available by christmas"....which is still 2 months away.
 
I remember talking to them at quakecon. But the apple lawsuit decesion was like 1-2 weeks ago. Quakecon was a few months ago...
 
It doesnt really look like the G5 case to me, except for the handles at the top, and those are removable.

I think it will be made available.
 
Good luck getting an e-mail response. Sent one, never heard back, sent another from another address, and got a reply 10 days later asking me where I was located. Replied and said I was in the US, never heard back.

The Gaming Bomb II was supposed to be released in August. It still isn't here. I got fed up with the wait and the poor response from Chenbro, and voted with my wallet. I'm now working on modding my new Antec P160 Performance case. The Chenbro looked like an awesome case, but I value service more than that. I would have waited longer had they made a reasonable effort to respond to my e-mail and keep me updated or give me details.

P.S. When looking at my Antec this week, I noticed that the case had two spots for clamps to hold the mainboard in place, but only one clamp came with the case. Not sure if this was the way it was supposed to be, I e-mailed Antec. They immediately sent me a second clamp no questions asked via USPS Priority Mail and I got it three days later. How's THAT for service? I'll always consider them in the future when looking at cases and power supplies.
 
I have a gb2 shirt that i got from the guys at quakecon, talked about the case alot with one of them. There are alot of features that are nice, things that us moders have been doing to cases all along. But it is still nice to see them be manufatured that way. I wouldnt mind having one of these cases, depending on price.

Ye, I haven't got any respones at all from Chenbro. I emailed Globalwin to tell them I liked they layout of their case (like the SR-71, but forgot name) but that the front was really ugly. They said they are in the process of designing a new front panel. And if you buy the case now, you can get a new front panel later. It took them less than a day to respond. Chenbro on the other hand....
 
Bah why is it Apple has to screw everything up. I was looking for this case today and alas still nowhere to be found. I want one for an eventual Althlon64 FX system I want to build.

I do have a similar case, but my only complaint is how the hard drives mount in this thing.

Damn, I am wanting this case, I know it is going to end up just like the Antec/Chieftec cases where you see them everywhere but I dont care, I just want a good functional case.

Thats Canadian currency so its roughly only about $24~, not a bad price for a Chenbro. :p ;)

It is a Nice looking case, it is similar to the Apple case in silouette but does Apples case readily fit a ATX mobo or for that matter is the fucking thing offered at all on its own without the overpriced hardware of Apple Co.? No... that lawsuit is pointless.
