This weekend I decided to try out the ejector seat on my mountain bike, so now I'm left with a busted wrist and two weeks to kill. Any recommendations for decent games which don't require coordination or timing? I've been looking at Rise of Nations, something along those lines.

I broke the ejector seat on my bike years ago from repeated use, can you fill me in on where to get replacement parts, or maybe an entire new setup for my bike?

And back on topic, sim city for SNES!!

The combat can require click timing but The Witcher has a one handed mouse only control option.

I got lucky, last time I tested the ejector seat I mangled my leg up, but still had 2 hands for gaming. Getting around was annoying though.

Lol @ op, I feel your pain. Same thing happened to me about 6 years ago. It involved me, a fast downhill run, a duck, and a superman flight through the air........

BOT, which wrist is messed up (main mouse hand or not)? Because I remember that I couldn't do a damn thing with my off-hand, and sim-city pissed me right the hell off. I'm pretty much "ambi-retarded" and couldn't click on anything at all.

But if you want to give it a go, I'd also recommend both sim-city and the Witcher. Great games even if you aren't gimped. Also, +1 on some console rpg's.

Apparently it was one of those new model ejector seats. I didn't even know the bike had one, but I can't otherwise explain how I managed to separate myself from the bike by a good 20 feet.

Unfortunately, it's the mouse hand. Nothing broken in the other hand; I just scraped the palm clear off. Gloves next time.

Thanks for the recommendations. I gotta do something -- my deep-seated hatred of TV is bubbling to the surface already.

Turn-based strategy games might be what you need. I am enjoying Fantasy Wars, not the most polished game but fun and challenging. Definately old school.

I think there is a demo out to try first.

I have to admit, I originally thought the title said Games for pimps. That sounded very interesting. But reading the first post, I think this topic has some possibilities as well.

Turn based strategies would be my recommendation. Or maybe something like KoTOR (don't think it required too much timing, and coordination wouldn't be too big an issue). Its been a long time since I played KoTOR so if I am way off base I apologize in advance.

When you guys say "Ejector Seat", only this comes to mind...

It probably looked about like that, only my bike is way less awesome. And I wasn't smiling so much.

KOTOR could work. The pause button will come in mighty handy. I'll also have to look into turn-based strat games. I haven't played one of those since Alpha Centauri.

KOTOR has to be the best Game of its type I have ever played.. Granted, I dont really get in to RPG-Turn Based Games very often. You wont be dissapointed.

I can almost tie my own shoes again! On the downside, EE2 was a losing proposition -- apparently my left hand has Down's. I just can't keep up. Good call on the KOTOR, though. Forgot how genuinely epic that game was.

Galactic Civs 2 got really good reviews. I'm surprised I hadn't heard of it before. Might have to order a copy.

I'm also surprised no recommendations for the Civilization series. Course, I haven't played those since Civ I. What gives?

You dirty son of a bitch! Why would you recommend that game to me? I don't know where Tuesday went. Or Wednesday.

Heh. :D I just purchased the "Game of the Year" edition, but I still haven't sat down and played it yet. Can't wait!

Yeah Civilisation always killed a couple weeks every time I pulled it out again.

Lol, thats the exact thing I was thinking and was about to look for an image from the movie to post here. That was one of my favorite movies growing up, I was even pee-wee for Halloween 2 years ago

Visit the classics, play some Grim Fandango for a great story and not a ton of mouse clicking. Otherwise maybe play some old shooters, Doom or Quake with just the KB.
