For those of you who thought "WTF is Game Explorer" (I did), it's a feature in Vista that "provides a convenient list of all games currently installed on your PC."

More can be found here.

Basically it's a feature that adds an extra step to launching your games. Instead of hitting the Windows key and typing in the name, you hit the Windows key and type in "Games Explorer" then you click on the game. :D

Sorry couldn't help myself.

It's okay, but my old tweak of removing the shortcut arrows by deleting all instances of "isshortcut" in the Registry breaks it, so I have to use a different method of using a blank "arrow" icon for shortcuts.

I use it because it automatically adds all my new games to it so all the games I have installed appear there... so easy!

But the new Steam update which allows for adding shortcuts replaced it for me.
