Gamecube controller usable for PC?

lol... why would you want to? It has got to be the worst controller of its generation.
 
id like to know how the interface on these suckers works.

obviously you bind the buttons on the controller to keys on a keyboard, but what about the anolog stick? just bind to up down left and right?
 
IMO, all of the controllers for the past generation except the Xbox Type-S were shitty.

I don't understand why the Dual Shock style controller is so popular, it has to be the most uncomfortable controller I have ever used. Entirely too small and the analog stick placement is flat out terrible.

QFT, I find the analog stick placement on those things to be really hard to play with sometimes.
