I got a Radeon X1900XT and some of my games like to stutter every 3 seconds. Doom 3, Quake 4, Half Life 2: Lost Coast, and Pacific Fighters like to stutter alot. I have the 6.3 drivers installed and I use the Catalyst Control Center. I previously had a 7800GT and didn't have these issues with it. I uninstalled the nvidia drivers and used driver cleaner and ran it on the nvidia WDM drivers 5 times at least to make sure the nvidia drivers were out. I installed the .NET 1.1 drivers first(which was required), and tonight, I installed the NET 2.0 drivers and that didn't help. I have been searching and tweaking stuff and have had no luck. Any help with this would be really appreciated.

I got an Athlon 64 3500+, an Antec TruePower 550w with 11.43v on the 12v rail and -7 on the -12v rail(I have a PC Power and Cooling 510 behind me that I can't use since it didn't fit in my case and so I am waiting on a Power Supply bracket or whatever they're called that my brother ordered me to get here so that we can lift up the power supply some and get it fit in there) and I have 2 gigs of ram that runs at PC2700 speeds since PC3200 speeds have proven to be really unstable through Memtest86 and Prime 95. I run the games at 1024*768 and 1152*864, BTW. I run a maxtor 80GB 2MB cache drive with all games on it as the master drive and a Seagate 160GB 8mb Cache as a slave drive.

I installed the 6.2 drivers and everything is going good now. Thanks for the help.
