Are there any charging docks out there that work for a Galaxy S3 that is in a case? I've done some hunting and most of the charging docks I've seen have reviews that comment on how the dock doesn't work if your phone is in any kind of a case.

The official Samsung multimedia dock works with a case, well, as long as it is a tpu or thinner case. No otterbox. I used mine with a GS3 in a Body Glove tpu and currently with a Note 2 in a Sedio Surface with kickstand

Yup, I have this dock for my Note 2 with a Mercury Slim Fit TPU case. Works great! There's a little spring-loaded bracket around the micro-USB connector on the dock, so when you press the phone down onto it, the bracket gets pushed down by the phone and even further down by a case so the phone can still have a good/full connection with the micro-USB connector. It worked well with my thicker Seido Surface case too, for reference.

Google the Zenis dock. It was designed for the Galaxy S2 and works with it and most cases. Seems that it also works with the SGS3 and SGS4, provided that the case is slim, like a TPU case.
